Capture an image first

  1. In classic Outlook, place the cursor in the email message body where you want to add the image.

  2. Select the Insert tab, then select Screenshot > Screen Clipping.

  3. From there, select an Available Window to be captured and inserted. Or select Screen Clipping to define the exact screen area you want to capture in a screenshot, then click and drag to create a screenshot to paste it automatically into your email.

Paste an image that's already on the clipboard

  1. Place your cursor in the email message where you want to add your screenshot.

  2. Press Ctrl+V to paste your screenshot from your clipboard.
