Hello,

Choose the account you want to sign in with.

  1. Select the shape or text box that contains the text.

  2. On the Shape Format tab, select   Rotate.

  3. Select the option you want.

Important: The Flip Horizontal option has no effect on the direction of text. To reverse the direction of text, in the Format Shape pane, select Text Options > The Text Effects icon. Text Effects > 3-D Rotation, then set X Rotation to 180°.

In PowerPoint for the web, an object can rotate on its center point, but it can't be flipped on an axis. Therefore, text in a box rotated 180 degrees will be upside down, rather than reversed and right-side up. The desktop versions of PowerPoint can flip a text box on an axis.

  1. Select the text box or shape you want to rotate.

  2. Click and drag the rotation handle Rotation handle in the direction you want to rotate the text.
