Speed up joining meetings from Lync Web App by saving your meeting preferences. These preferences include, for example, your default audio and video devices, and the font for instant messages (IMs) you send.
To set your preferences, click the Remember me on this computer check box. The credentials you used to sign in to Lync Web App are saved and used automatically when you join your next meeting from Lync Web App. All other settings that you save will also be used for your future meetings.
After you select the option to save your sign-in credentials, the option to choose the font for your IMs becomes available. Click Change Font to select a color, font style, and font size for your IM text, and then click OK to save your choices. The option to show emoticons in your IMs is automatically enabled. Click the check box if you want to disable it.
Another option that becomes available after you save your sign-in information is accessed from the Phones tab. You can use this option to set your preferences for joining the audio portion of the meeting. To learn about this option, click the Help button on the Phones tab.
