Select the Instant Search box in the classic Outlook title bar.

On the left end of the ribbon, below the box, select From
. -
In the Instant search box, replace Sender Name with the name you want to search for:
Classic Outlook suggests names that match what you entered.

Select the name you want to search for.
Classic Outlook immediately shows a list of items matching your search.

You may add keywords in the box to further refine your search, or you may select other criteria from the ribbon, such as Subject or Has Attachments.

If you've added additional criteria, press Enter to perform the search operation.

Select the Instant Search box in the new Outlook for Windows title bar.

In the From field, enter the name you want to search for:
