Search in Teams

1. Type a keyword or search phrase in the  Search field at the top from anywhere in Teams.

2. Select one of the displayed results, or press Enter to get more results.

3. Select All, Messages, People, Files, Group Chats, or Teams and Channels to narrow your results. 

4. With Messages and Files, narrow results further with filters like Date, Type, Team, etc. 

The  Search box can find people and items across all of Teams. For more info, see Search for messages and more in Teams.

Tip: When in chats or channels, press Ctrl+F to search for messages and posts.
