If your admin enables the option, you can choose to share diagnostic data (log files) to Microsoft when you send feedback in the Teams mobile app. These log files contain information about processes running in the Teams app to help detect, diagnose, and fix issues in the app. These, along with your feedback, help make improvements to Teams that keep the app secure.
To attach logs, tap your profile picture > Settings > Help and feedback > Send feedback > enable the toggle for Attach logs to help troubleshoot.
Diagnostic log files for troubleshooting Teams
When you run Teams on your mobile device, we collect certain diagnostic and troubleshooting data and save it to log files on your device. These log files contain information about the processes and components running in the Teams app, but don't contain the content of your documents or information about apps unrelated to Teams. Logs are typically free of personal data, however some error types may cause user names or email addresses to be logged.
This information helps provide more context about technical issues that might occur when you’re using Teams. For example, the information in these log files could help us identify the underlying reason why you might have a problem saving a file on the device running Teams. In those situations, it’s beneficial for the log files to be sent to Microsoft.
