Forward your incoming calls to your mobile, home, or another number, and never miss a call. You can also use Lync simultaneously ring to have your calls ring on other numbers, in addition to your desktop phone or Lync.

Be aware that some of these options might not be available for your account.

Forward your calls

  1. Click the Call Forwarding icon (phone handset) in the lower-left corner of the Lync main window.

  2. Point to Forward Calls To, and select one of the following:

  3. Your mobile phone

  4. Your home number

  5. Voice Mail: if it’s been set up

  6. Other: other numbers that you’ve specified in Lync

  7. New Number or Contact: type a number where you can be reached, or select a Lync contact who you want to take your calls.

Simultaneously ring

  1. Click the Call Forwarding icon (phone handset) in the lower-left corner of the Lync main window.

  2. Point to Simultaneously Ring and choose one of the following. Your calls will ring you at work and at the number you choose.

  3. Your mobile phone.

  4. Your home number.

  5. Other: other numbers that you have specified in Lync.

  6. New Number: click and type a new number.

Tip:  To see more options, click Call Forwarding Settings and choose other selections.

Add phone numbers

  1. Click the Options button in the upper right corner of the Lync main window, and then click the Phones tab.

  2. Under My phone numbers, select a check box, such as Mobile Phone, and type your number. Use only the digits and no parentheses or hyphens.

  3. Check the boxes next to the numbers that you want to show on your contact card.
