You can easily share a form or quiz as a template so that colleagues and teachers can duplicate, customize, and use it as their own.
Share as a template

In Microsoft Forms, open the quiz or form you want to share as a template.

Select the Collaborate or Duplicate button .
Note: We're slowly rolling out the entry point for how to access the option of sharing your form as a template. If you don't see the Collaborate or Duplicate button , select the Share button and proceed to the next step.

Under Share as a template, select Get a link to duplicate.

Select Copy. You can now paste the link where you want, such as in an email, notebook, or Teams.

If you use your work or school account to share your form as a template with someone using a personal Microsoft (Hotmail, Live, or Outlook.com) account, the collect response setting to the duplicated form will reset. For personal Microsoft accounts, the setting will reset to one option, which is, Anyone can respond.

If you use your personal Microsoft (Hotmail, Live, or Outlook.com) account to share your form as a template with someone using their work or school account, the collect response setting to the duplicated form will reset. For work or school accounts, the setting will reset to two options, which are, Anyone can respond and Only people in my organization can respond.

When your recipient clicks or taps on the link, they'll be able to duplicate your form and use it as their own. Your form serves as a template from which your recipient can then customize as desired.
When you share a quiz or form as a template, only the content of it is duplicated. No existing response data is carried over to the new quiz or form when someone else duplicates it.
Delete a template link

In Microsoft Forms, open the quiz or form which includes a template link.

Select the Collaborate or Duplicate button .

Select the trash can button next to the text box that displays the form link.

Select Remove link to permanently delete the link. Once deleted, you'll need to get a new, unique link to if you want to share your form again as a template.
