When you click a SharePoint link to a nested folder path from Outlook Desktop, the link opens to the root folder Documents instead. 

This issue occurs for Microsoft 365 users on Version 2208 on Semi-Annual Channel Extended and Version 2309 on Monthly Enterprise Channel.


This issue is fixed for affected users in Version 2302 for Semi-Annual Channel Extended and Version 2310 on Monthly Enterprise Channel.   

If you need to work around the issue until you can update Outlook Desktop, select the SharePoint links in Outlook Web Access (OWA) or New Outlook.
