Start a group chat

1. Select  Chat on the left and choose  New chat at the top of the app, or press Ctrl+N.

2. Add two or more people for the group into the To field. 
   To add people later, see Add people to a group chat.

3. Select the down arrow at the far right of the To field. Type a name for the chat in the Group name field. Use this name to return to a chat at any time. To rename a group chat after it's created, see Rename a group chat.

4. Type a new message in the field at the bottom of the page and select Send.

Note: A chat group is not the same as a contact or call group.
