  1. On the Data tab, select Get data button Get Data in the Get & Transform Data group to choose a source of the data for Power Query.

  2. Based on the data source chosen, follow the prompts to access and query that data in the Power Query Editor in Excel. You can also select the  Power Query Editor button Launch Power Query Editor from the Get data button Get Data menu to load or work with existing data queries. For more info, see Power Query - Overview and Learning.
