The iCalendar or iCal .ics format is an internet standard for calendar sharing. Outlook uses .ics links to sync your calendar with others.

Get an .ics link URL. This is provided by the online calendar provider such as Google.

In the lower-right corner of classic Outlook, select
Calendar, and select Home > Add or Add Calendar and select From Internet. -
Paste the .ics URL into the location field and select OK.

In the Add this Internet Calendar dialog, select Yes.

In new Outlook, select
Calendar. -
In the pane on the left, below the calendar grid, select Add Calendar.

Select Subscribe from web.

Paste the .ics URL, then select Import.
