Underline text

Select the text to underline, and do one of the following: 

• To underline in the current font color, select ​​​​​​​ Underline on the Home tab, or press Ctrl+U.

• For more options, select the  Font dialog box launcher on the Home tab,  and choose Underline style and Underline color on the Font tab.

If, instead, you want to turn spell check and grammar underlining on or off, see Turn colored underlining on or off.

• For more options, select Format > Font on the top menu (or press ⌘+T), and choose Underline style and Underline color on the Font tab.

Choose the text to underline and select ​​​​​​​ Underline on the Home tab, or press Ctrl+U.
For Single Line Ribbon, select  More Font Options and then  ​​​​​​​ Underline.

To change underline style and color on the Font tab, open the presentation in PowerPoint desktop. 

• To open the desktop app, at the top of the ribbon, select  Editing > Open in Desktop App.
