Try it!

Collaborate on a table, bulleted list, checklist, or other component right inside a chat or channel. Not sure if you want to draft your message in a group chat? Try experimenting with Loop components in a chat with yourself (at to top of your chat list) before sharing with others. For more on self chat, see Start a self chat.

  1. In the Type a message box in Chat, or Reply or new Post in a channel.

  2. Select Loop components button Loop components right beneath the box. Make sure the text box has no text in it when you do this.

  3. Choose the type of component to insert into your message, or select the ellipsis (...) for more options.

  4. Enter content into the component.

  5. When ready, select  Send a message icon. Send or Post. Everyone in the chat or channel will be able to interact with or edit the content inline.

Once posted, select View all components at the bottom of the component to view and interact with other team member's components.

Tip: @Mention people inside the component to show where you’d like them to contribute. They’ll get an activity feed notification that brings them right to the component.
