Use crop marks to show or hide margins

1. Select the File tab and select Options.

2. Select the Advanced tab.

3. In the Show Document Content section, select or clear the Show crop marks check box, and select OK.

1. On the Word menu, select Preferences.

2. Select   View, and under Show in Document, select or clear the Crop Marks check box.

3. Close Preferences.

Showing crop marks isn't currently possible in Word for the web. You can, however, show crop marks in the Word desktop app.

• To open the desktop app, at the top of the ribbon, select Editing > Open in Desktop App.
