GroupMe is a free group messaging app. It’s a simple way to stay in touch with friends and family.

Even your friends without smartphones can join; add anyone from your address book, and they can jump right in and chat with the group.

GroupMe works on Android so you can stay in touch on the go.

A. Search chats - Search your messages and contacts.

B. View a chat - Tap a chat to view and send messages to your contact or group.

C. Start a new chat - Create a group chat, start a direct message, create an announcement group to share updates with others, or start a School Group with GroupMe Campus.

D. Chat tab - Send chats and create groups. You'll start on the Chat tab when you open the app.

E. GroupMe Campus tab - Find groups for classes, clubs, and common interests in your school community. To use GroupMe Campus, you'll need to verify your school email address. Learn more about GroupMe Campus.

F. Profile tab - Edit and share your profile, find your contacts, view your archived messages and groups, manage your settings, or get help and send feedback.

C. Search messages - Search your chats.

D. Profile - Edit and share your profile, manage two-step verification, export your data, delete your account, or connect to Campus Connect or Facebook.

E. Chats tab - Send chats and create groups. You'll start on the Chat tab when you open the app

F. Contacts tab - View your contacts. You can report a concern or remove and block contacts from this tab.

G. Archive tab - Find any chats you've hidden and groups you've left.
