On the Draw tab, select a
 pen or other drawing tool. If the Draw tab isn't present, see Where is the Draw tab? -
Use your mouse, pen, or finger to write your signature.
If you can't start drawing, select  Draw with Touch. -
To resize or reposition the signature, use the
  Lasso tool to select. Use the  corner handles to resize, and the  four headed arrow to move.  To exit draw mode, choose   Select.Â

Writing your signature isn't possible in Word for the web. You can write your signature in the Word desktop app.

To open the desktop app, at the top of the ribbon, select Editing > Open in Desktop App.

Tip:Â Take a photo of your signature and add the picture to your document.Â
