Access now supports zooming for most forms, tables, and queries when in Form View and Datasheet View. You can zoom in to get a close-up view of your file or zoom out to see more of the page at a reduced size.Â
Quickly zoom in or out
On the status bar in the lower right-hand corner of Access, click the zoom slider.Â
Slide to the percentage zoom setting that you want. Press – or + to zoom in gradual increments.
Keyboard shortcuts
To zoom in, press Ctrl + Plus (+).
To zoom out, press Ctrl + Minus(-).
To return to 100% magnification, press Ctrl + 0.
Choose a magnification setting
In Form View or Datasheet View, you can choose how much of a form, table, or query you see on the screen.
On the Home tab, select the Zoom option and choose one of the default options of 500%, 200%, 150%, 75% or 50%.
To return the view to 100% zoom, click Zoom 100%. If you prefer to use the keyboard, you can press Ctrl+0.
Access doesn't save zoom settings. Instead, it opens your form at the last zoom level you used. To set a default setting, choose File > Options > Current Database > Application Options and choose the Default Zoom setting.
