Symptoms
Assume that you have a purchase invoice that has more than one offset accounts in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1). When you transfer the invoice to European Union (EU) sales list, the system generates incorrect vendor invoice in the Spanish EU sales list report (349). The system populates the direction of the vendor invoices as Sales instead of Purchase unexpectedly. Additionally, the system does not group the invoice by vendor as expected.
Cause
This problem occurs because hotfix 978348 updates the logic to process ledger journal code before transferring vendor invoice journals. Therefore, the system cannot process the code that transfers vendor invoice journals.

Prerequisites
You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 with the 349 Spanish tax report version 2010 installed to apply this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
