This article describes a Stop error that occurs in Windows Server 2012 R2. You can fix this issue by using the update in this article. Before you install this update, see the Prerequisites section.
Symptoms
When you access a shared virtual hard disk file (.vhdx) through a redirector and a time-out error or network error is returned to VHDMP.sys, you may receive a Stop error that looks something like this:
STOP: 0x00000001 (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
This error occurs because of the double release of a push lock.
Notes-
This Stop error indicates an APC_INDEX_MISMATCH issue.
-
The parameters in this Stop error message vary, depending on the configuration of the computer.
-
Not all "0x00000001" Stop errors are caused by this issue.
