Symptoms
You try to install Microsoft Lync 2010 Attendee - Administrator Level Installation on a computer that has Silverlight version 4.0.50917.0 installed. However, you receive the following error message:
Installation Did Not Succeed
Lync Attendee has not been installed because:
Fatal error during installation.
Note If you immediately try to install Lync 2010 Attendee - Administrator Level Installation again, the installation succeeds.
