Symptoms

Assume that you have a Korean version of Microsoft Lync 2010 for iPhone. In this situation, the "Me:" and "Missed:" text strings in the conversation window are translated into Korean incorrectly.

Specifically, "Me:" is translated to "이 컴퓨터: ," which means "This computer." Instead, "Me:" should be translated to "나: ."

"Missed:" is translated incorrectly to "부재 중 전화: ," which means "Missed call." Instead, "Missed:" should be translated to "부재 중 메세지: ."

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
