When you try to access the Out of Office (OOF) settings in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, you receive the following error message:
Your Out of Office settings cannot be displayed, because the server is currently unavailable, try again later.
Note This issue occurs after the primary SMTP address is changed on the computer.
To resolve this issue, apply the following update:

Fix it for me
To enable the hotfix automatically, click the Fix it button or link. Then click Run in the File Download dialog box, and follow the steps in the Fix it wizard.
Install hotfix that is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 2687262 before you run this Fix it solution.
This wizard may be in English only. However, the automatic fix also works for other language versions of Windows.
If you are not on the computer that has the problem, save the Fix it solution to a flash drive or a CD and then run it on the computer that has the problem.
Then, go to the "Did this fix the problem?" section.
Let me fix it myself
Follow these steps to enable the hotfix:
Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
Locate and then select the following registry subkey:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click Key.
Type Cached Mode, and then press Enter.
Locate and then select the following registry subkey:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Cached Mode
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD (32-bit) Value.
Type OnlineABForNewPrimarySMTP, and then press Enter.
In the Details pane, right-click OnlineABForNewPrimarySMTP, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
Exit Registry Editor.
