Introduction
This article describes a country-specific update for India is available for integrating India localization with online store solution in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3.

In order to obtain the legal compliance of our retail omni-channel solutions to APAC markets, we have to integrate our localization with retail solutions for AX 2012 R3.
Specifically, the following are addressed in the hotfix:-
When customers place an order in the online store, applicable service tax, VAT or CST should be calculated correctly as per India legal requirements.

When customers return goods they purchased on line in store, tax should be handled as per legal requirements.

Display tax amount per tax components or tax value in checkout screen.
As per India regulation, service tax would be applied on shipping charges. This is yet not supported in the current hotfix.

Prerequisites
You must have the Indian version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 installed to apply this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
File information

The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time.
