Introduction

This article describes country-specific update that is available for Mexico to comply with the new requirement electronic ledger accounting report in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

The Mexican tax authority (SAT) has published the project of the second miscellaneous resolution of 2014 and their annexes 1, 1-A, 2, 3, 6, 11, 14, 15, 18.22, 23 and 24 which contains, rules on compliance of the available to deliver accounting in electronic media.

From October 2014, all Mexican companies are forced to generate and submit in electronic media all accounting statements as balance sheet and ledger accounting transactions on a monthly base. The government in his Annex 24 has established and detailed the XSD schema of electronic files.

The following files will be supported:

  1. Chart of account. Just once or when the chart of account has been updated.

  2. Balance sheet: Monthly base for all accounts (balance and P&L).

  3. Journal transactions with related vouchers: When the tax authority request.

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 installed to apply this hotfix:

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

The global version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
