The August 16, 2022 update for Windows 11 is an update for .NET Framework 3.5. We recommend that you apply this update as part of your regular maintenance routines. Before you install this update, see the Prerequisites and Restart requirement sections.


This update for .NET Framework 3.5 for Windows 11 addresses a localization issue for some .NET Framework binaries on systems with the Portuguese – PTG language pack. For a complete list of the binaries impacted see File Information.
