Symptom

Assume that you install the Surface Enterprise Management Mode (SEMM) configuration package that applies to and contains settings for Surface Pro Model 1796 to Surface Pro 4 or Surface Book. When you enter UEFI settings by using non-administrator mode, you may encounter the following issues:

  • Some UEFI pages, for example Enterprise Management or Exit, cannot be displayed in non-administrator mode access to the UEFI.

  • Some pages, such as Info, may be mislabeled.

Workaround

To work around this issue, use one package that includes only Surface Pro Model 1796 settings and a separate package that only contains settings for Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book instead.
