This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for the Russian (ru) region.

Property tax calculation is changing from 1/1/2016. New federal law 396-FZ from 12/29/2015 changed the rules for property tax calculation when cadastral rules are applied.

  1. Changes for nontaxable fixed assets

Starting from year 2015, assets from 1 and 2 depreciation groups are not taxable, but their net book value should be reflected in line 270 of assessed tax declaration.

For such fixed assets, you need to enable the check box Nontaxable in Assessed tax group of fields, and choose valid Asset kind.

The net book value of such asset is calculated in assessed tax registers, and line is marked as Nontaxable.

  2. Changes in cadastral rules for assessed tax calculation

Starting from year 2016, the following rules are valid:

    1) Reporting periods for assessed tax calculated by cadastral rules, will be 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter and year. This influences the calculation formula for assessed tax advance payments.

    Example:

If Fixed asset is bought 1st February,

    - the advance payment for the 1st quarter will be calculated as follows:

    Cadastral value * tax rate * 2/3 (2 months (Feb, Mar) in 1st quarter) * 1/4 (quarter)

    - the advance payment for the half year will be calculated as follows:

Cadastral value * tax rate * 3/3 (all months in the 2nd quarter) * 1/4 (quarter)

    2) If fixed asset is bought before 15th of a month or sold after 15th of a month, such month is considered as full month for assessed tax calculation. Otherwise, this month is not considered in calculation formula.
