Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You configure server-to-server authentication between Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 that has cumulative update 7 installed and Microsoft Lync Server 2013 that has cumulative update 5 installed.
-
You run the Set-CsUserServicesPolicy -Identity global -UcsAllowed $True command to enable the unified contact store (UCS) feature.
-
You use Chinese input method editors (IME) to create a contact group in Microsoft Lync 2013 (Microsoft Skype for Business) that has November 11, 2014 update for Lync 2013 (KB2899507) installed.
In this scenario, when you re-sign in to the Lync 2013 client, the name of the Chinese contact group is displayed incorrectly.
Resolution
To apply this update, see July 14, 2015 update (KB3054946) for Lync 2013 (Skype for Business). Note Lync 2013 was upgraded to Skype for Business in April 2015.
