Latest updates for versions of Office that use Windows Installer (MSI)
This article describes update KB2910907 for Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 that was released on December 9, 2014. This update also applies to Office Home and Student 2013 RT, which contains PowerPoint 2013.How to determine?).
Please be aware that the update in Download Center applies to Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2013. It does not apply to the Office 2013 Click-to-Run editions such as Microsoft Office 365 Home. (Improvements and Fixes

Fixes the following issues:

When you run slide show in PowerPoint 2013, midway through the slide show you may be unable to navigate through the presentation by using the arrow keys, page up and page down keys, mouse click, swipe, and so on. Therefore, the slide show stays on the current slide.

When you run slide show in PowerPoint 2013, you cannot insert shapes into the presentation by using the PasteSpecial method in the object model.

Assume that you copy a text selection that contains a chart object from a Word document, and then you paste it into a PowerPoint presentation. When you try to save the presentation, the save fails. Additionally, you may receive the following error message:
We're sorry, something went wrong that might make PowerPoint unstable. Please save your presentations and restart PowerPoint.

Assume that you open a PowerPoint presentation that contains a table in PowerPoint 2013 that contains a Date and Time field that was added by using the following steps:

Click to select a table cell, on the Insert menu, click Date & Time.

Click to select the Update Automatically check box, and then click OK.
In this situation, the Date and Time field does not automatically update to the current date and time.

Assume that you open a PowerPoint presentation in PowerPoint 2013, and then you try to change the picture corrections of the background by using the following steps:

Click the Design tab.

In the Customize group, click the Format Background button.

In the Format Background pane, select the Picture or texture fill option, and then click the Picture icon.
In this scenario, after you install Office 2013 Service Pack 1 (SP1), you cannot change the settings in the Picture Corrections section.

Start PowerPoint 2013.

On the File menu, click Account.

For Office 2013 Click-to-Run installations, an Update Options item is displayed. For MSI-based installations, the Update Options item is not displayed.

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. If you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.

In the list of updates, locate and then tap or click update KB2910907, and then tap or click Uninstall.
