This article describes the Microsoft Excel 2010 issues that are fixed in the Excel 2010 hotfix package that is dated December 16, 2011.

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you insert a shape into an Excel 2010 workbook from a Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) session that uses 8-bit color depth, the cells behind the shape are displayed with bold formatting.

  • The computer beeps when you set the value of the OutlineLevel property in Excel 2010.
