This article describes the Microsoft Excel Web App issues that are fixed in the Excel Web App hotfix package that is dated October 26, 2010.

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • In Microsoft Excel 2010, if you save an Excel workbook that uses a user-defined function that is built as an add-in for a client, all formulas are prepended with "_xll". This prevents Excel Services in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 from executing the function correctly and may display incorrect results. Note To resolve this issue, apply this hotfix package together with the following hotfix package:

  • Assume that you have two ranges of data that overlap a range address but from different worksheets. In Excel 2010, if you pass the two ranges of data to functions such as SUMIF, COUNTIF, and AVERAGEIF, the calculation produces inaccurate results.Note To resolve this issue, apply this hotfix package together with the following hotfix package:
