INTRODUCTION

This article describes the Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006 hotfix package that is dated July 19, 2009. This hotfix package fixes some issues in ISA Server 2006.   • 973737 FIX: ISA Server 2006 does not pass the last server cookie to the client computer when HTML Form Authentication is used in the Web publishing rule

  • 973735 FIX: ISA Server 2006 Management Console crashes when you use the Test button of a Web publishing rule to verify the connectivity to the published Web server

  • 973734 FIX: ISA Server 2006 Management Console crashes when it displays the Schedule tab of a firewall policy rule

  • 973731 FIX: Memory leak occurs in the Wspsrv.exe process when you use the Negotiate (NTLM/Kerberos) delegation in ISA Server 2006

  • 973732 FIX: Some Web servers fail to recognize the "Accept-Encoding:gzip" header in the requests that are forwarded by ISA Server 2006

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Prerequisites

You must have ISA Server 2006 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, the hotfix installation restarts the ISA Server 2006-related services.

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.
