INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario:

    • You are in an environment that contains two SharePoint realms that are backed by two authorization providers.

    • You have a document that contains hyperlinks pointing to documents on both realms.

    • You click a link that refers to a realm.

    • You click a link that refers to the second realm.

In this situation, you receive the following error message:

There was a problem accessing the site. Try to browse to the site again.

  • When you run a macro that manipulates some tables (for example, the macro populates date information in a table) in Word 2010, it takes longer than expected for the macro to finish running.

  • When an email message contains a table that contains merged cells, and you leave the email message open in the background, Outlook 2010 may crash.

  • When you print an email message that contains OLE objects in Outlook 2010, Outlook 2010 may crash. Additionally, you may receive the following error message:

There is a problem with the selected printer. You might need to reinstall this printer. Try again, or use a different printer.

  • Assume that you clear the Show white space between pages in Print Layout view check box in Word 2010. When you run a macro to set the bounds of a shape in a document in compatibility mode, the bounds are set incorrectly.

  • When you open some dialog boxes, such as the Find and Replace and Insert Hyperlink dialog boxes, in the Japanese version of Word 2010 on a computer that has Windows 8 installed, the dialog boxes are larger than expected.

  • When you run a macro to obtain or set page setup properties in a document that contains a floating table in Word 2010, you receive the following error message:

error 4605" - "The LeftMargin method or property is not available because the object refers to a framed paragraph.

  • Consider the following scenario:

    • You insert a table of figures into a document in Word 2010.

    • You enable the Track Changes function.

    • You delete a table of figures that contains a caption in the document.

    • You update the table of figures that you inserted.

In this situation, the table of figures is not updated correctly.

  • Assume that you set Square, Tight, Behind text, In front of text, Through, or Top and bottom as the Insert/paste pictures as value in the Word Options dialog box in Word 2010. When you insert a picture in a document, the picture is inserted unexpectedly at the top of the page.
