Improvements and fixes

This security update contains fixes and improvements for the following nonsecurity issues in SharePoint Server Subscription Edition:

  • Fixes an issue in which the icon is broken when you upload the file item that exceeds the threshold.

  • Fixes an issue in which you receive a wrong error message that states "cannot check retention policy on this site" when you configure retention policy on the web application that doesn't have a policy center site collection. The error message should say "Policy center does not exist."

This security update also contains a fix for the following nonsecurity issue in Project Server. Consider the following scenario:

  • On a task, you set the Status Manager.

  • You publish the project.

  • Later in the same editing session, you change the Status Manager to a different manager.

  • You publish the project.

In this situation, the Status Manager property does not get updated in reporting. Instead of reflecting the new Status Manager, the old one is still observed.
