Summary
This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2013 hotfix package that is dated February 12, 2013.
INTRODUCTION
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
-
Assume that you add a SharePoint Server 2010 content database to a SharePoint Server 2013 server. However, when you upgrade the site collection on the SharePoint Server 2013 server, picture libraries are not updated.
-
Assume that you install SharePoint Designer 2013 on a computer that has Microsoft Visio 2010 installed. When you use SharePoint Designer 2013 to create a workflow on a site, you receive the following error message:
Microsoft SharePoint Designer can't start Microsoft Visio. An error occurred and this feature is no longer functioning properly. Would you like to repair this feature now?
In this situation, you have no option to close the application, and you must repeatedly repair the feature. This behavior occurs whether you select Yes or No.
-
Assume that you filter data in an Access form on a non-English version of SharePoint Server 2013 server. In this situation, the Full-Text Search functionality in SQL Server does not work correctly. Specifically, you cannot use Full-Text Search correctly for the server's locale, and filtering operations are slow or return incomplete results.
