Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You sign in to Microsoft Lync 2013 on a computer that is connected to one or more monitors.

You start a peer to peer or multiparty desktop sharing session with another Lync user.

All your screen data is updated. For example, a driver crashes or restarts, or the User Account Control (UAC) prompt appears.
In this situation, the desktop sharing session stops. Additionally, if you record the session, Lync 2013 will crash.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the following update:
