Latest updates for versions of Office that use Windows Installer (MSI)

This article describes update KB2910930 for Microsoft Access 2013 that was released on February 10, 2015. Please be aware that the update in Download Center applies to Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2013. It does not apply to the Office 2013 Click-to-Run editions such as Microsoft Office 365 Home. (How to determine?).

Improvements and Fixes

Fixes the following issue:

When you click OK in the Print dialog to print a file in Access 2013, the printing does not start. You have to click OK again to start printing. This issue occurs on a Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2)-based computer that has the Japanese Microsoft IME enabled in the language control panel.

How to determine whether my Office installation is Click-to-Run or MSI-based:

  1. Start Access 2013.

  2. On the File menu, click Account.

  3. For Office 2013 Click-to-Run installations, an Update Options item is displayed. For MSI-based installations, the Update Options item is not displayed.

Windows 8 and Windows 8.1

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. If you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.

  2. Type windows update, tap or click Settings, and then tap or click View installed updates in the search results.

  3. In the list of updates, locate and then tap or click update KB2910930, and then tap or click Uninstall.

Windows 7

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.

  2. Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.

  3. Click View installed updates.

  4. In the list of updates, locate and then click update KB2910930, and then click Uninstall.
