Symptoms
In Microsoft Host Integration Server 2013, you run a Transaction Integrator transaction whose Conversion Behavior option of Always Check For Null is set to true while padded strings are being sent. In this situation, the first call is successful, but all subsequent calls fail with an ABEND code 4038 error.
Cause
This problem occurs because the data is packed incorrectly on the second all and on all subsequent calls.
