Symptoms

Assume that you use MQSeries adapter to send messages to and receive messages from MQSeries systems by using Microsoft BizTalk Server. When you use MQSeries in combination with earlier IBM MQ 9.0 versions, you may receive an access violation error when you send larger messages and large quantities of messages (for example, millions). Additionally, heap corruption may occur intermittently.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in the following cumulative update for BizTalk Server:

Note In addition to the CU7, you must also update IBM MQ to version 9.0.0.5, 9.1 or later versions to fix this issue.
