Symptoms

A program that mixes virtual base classes and delegating constructors experiences unexpected runtime behavior, or the executable crashes.

Cause

This issue occurs because a delegating constructor is not checking if it needs to initialize a specific virtual base class. In this case, a virtual base class is being initialized multiple times, which can cause bad runtime behavior, depending on the user code.
