When you use the BizTalk Pipeline Component for Host Data Conversion to convert a host file that contains unsigned string numeric data types in a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 environment, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
HISMPCB0015 In BasePrimitiveConverter an invalid zoned decimal value was encountered in parameter name_of_method.
For example, this problem may occur when you configure the BizTalk Pipeline Component for Host Data Conversion to use a HostCodePage setting other than IBM EBCDIC (US-Canada).
This problem occurs because the BizTalk Pipeline Component for Host Data Conversion uses the IBM EBCDIC (US-Canada) code page incorrectly when it converts unsigned string numeric data types.
The hotfix that resolves this issue is included in cumulative update package 3 for Host Integration Server 2010.
