Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You run a Microsoft Silverlight for Windows Embedded application on a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device.

  • There are multiple RepeatButton controls on a page in the application.

  • You press and hold a RepeatButton control. The IsEnabled property of the RepeatButton control is set to "false."

  • You release the first RepeatButton control, and then you try to press and hold a second RepeatButton control.

In this scenario, the repeat functionality of the second RepeatButton control does not work.

Cause

This issue occurs because the timer for the first RepeatButton control is not stopped. This behavior prevents the timer for the second RepeatButton from being started.
