Symptoms
You apply Service Pack 1 Rollup 1 for Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) 2010. When you start a tunneled Java application from the Forefront Unified Access Gateway portal on a 64-bit client, the system may stop responding.
For example, after the Secure Sockets Layer virtual private network (SSL VPN) application is started from the UAG portal, the taskbar may become unresponsive, and you cannot open the Start menu or click any application. When the browser closes, you can resume working.Cause
This issue occurs because of a problem with a component that tracks mouse and keyboard actions. These actions are used by Forefront Unified Access Gateway to determine whether the client is idle to maintain the session idle time out functionality. The component in question is a 32-bit .dll file that tries to use a 64-bit Windows Explorer process.
