Symptoms
When you use a Transaction Integrator (TI) application that uses SNA LU 6.2 connection to the mainframe, the application may hang and the following error may occur:
HISMSNA0015 The SNATransport encountered an error calling internal method CMALLC when processing method <MethodName>, LUName <LUName>. Details: An internal error occurred during processing of TP Started, error code = 4592.
Cause
The error occurs under certain circumstances where a TP_ENDED command is not issued. This results in an increasing number of active TP sessions. When 15,000 active TP sessions is reached, this error will be reported.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for Host Integration Server:
