Symptoms

Assume that you have a European Union (EU) purchase Reverse Charge VAT invoice that uses the unrealized value-added tax (VAT) in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. When you partly apply the Reverse Charge Vendor invoice by using an EU credit memo, the transaction in the general ledger is incomplete. The system does not process the transaction for the realization of the unrealized VAT correctly. Two general ledger entries are missing. This problem occurs in the following products:

  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2

  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Service Pack 1

  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009

  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 Service Pack 1

  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0
