This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Excel 2013 hotfix package that is dated June 10, 2014.
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
Assume that you open two Excel workbooks in two Excel instances, and then you apply a custom table style to both workbooks. You then try to copy and paste data between these two workbooks. In this situation, the paste operation fails. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
Microsoft Excel cannot paste the data.
Assume that you open a workbook that contains an ActiveX combo box control in Excel 2013. You click the combo box and select the first item, and then you save the workbook in .xlsx file format. When you open the workbook, the combo box is empty (no item is selected).
Assume that the Workbook Calculation option is set as Automatic in Excel Options > Formulas. When you open an Excel workbook that contains many complex worksheets, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
Excel stops responding.
You receive an "Out of memory" error message.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problems that are described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problems described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

The global version of this hotfix package uses a Microsoft Windows Installer package to install the hotfix package. The dates and the times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in the following table. When you view the file information, the date is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
