When you choose any assignment in Microsoft Teams, a banner may display above the assignment name notifying you that the LMS course has not yet been added to the LMS gradebook. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.
1. In Canvas, navigate to the Microsoft Teams integration.
2. Select the Add Teams assignment button.
3. A list of previously created unlinked Teams assignments will display. Select an unlinked assignment, then choose the Link button.
The assignment will appear in the Teams assignment list in the Teams assignments LTI app.
Grades are now available to be updated in Canvas, now that the assignment is linked. This is indicated by the banner that now displays over the assignment in Teams.
Grades will now update automatically. The student will see their grades in the Canvas gradebook for any linked assignments.
