32-bit install

Choose between 32-bit or 64-bit installation

  1. Insert the Office 2010 disc into the drive. If the setup wizard doesn't start automatically, click the file folder icon on the taskbar or press ⊞ Win + E keys on your keyboard, right-click the disc drive icon, select Open, and then double-click setup.exe.

  2. When prompted, enter the product key. If you can't find it, see Find your product key for Office 2010.

  3. Read and accept the Microsoft Software License terms, and then click Continue.

  4. Follow the prompts to complete the Install wizard, and after Office installs, click Close.

Upgrade from Office 2010 to Office 365

64-bit install

  1. Insert the Office 2010 disc into the drive.

  2. Click the file folder icon on the taskbar or press ⊞ Win + E keys on your keyboard, and then right-click the disc drive icon and select Open.

  3. Open the x64 folder in the installation root, and then double-click setup.exe.

  4. When prompted, enter the product key. If you can't find it, see Find your product key for Office 2010.

  5. Read and accept the Microsoft Software License terms, and then click Continue.

  6. Follow the prompts to complete the Install wizard, and after Office installs, click Close.
