When you send an empty HTTP POST request on an Internet Explorer 11 page that is configured in the Internet zone on a Windows 8.1-based computer, Internet Explorer 11 freezes.
Note This issue does not occur in Internet Explorer 10 and other operating systems.
This issue occurs because Internet Explorer 11 incorrectly handles the empty post data internally, and cannot report any errors for the incorrect handling.
To resolve this issue, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to Microsoft Update.
